Launched 2012 as simple photo overlay tool with weather data. It grew organically as customers fell in love with the idea.

What we’ve learned during the 9 years of developing Weathershot, is that our users love to celebrate good weather. No matter where you are - on holidays, or in your garden, a beautiful day is worth sharing. 

With overcrowded social media, it’s difficult to receive and share such content, even with the closest people. That’s why, we've created the 1st Weather Social Network devoted to users, who appreciate good weather days! 

Our users are now able to connect with friends, share weather pics like never before and see new weather content from all over the world. 

With the first iPhones available and the rise of social media, people have started to share good weather conditions. With first warm spring days, screenshots from weather apps or photos of car dashboards would appear in social media. After a long winter, such content is exciting, but far from being pretty.

A tool for adding weather data to photos was clearly needed. 

As we love good weather and beautiful designs, we've started working on such app. After a few months of development, Weathershot was available in the Apple Appstore.  Almost in flash, social media were flooded with millions of photos from around the world, with Weathershot’s beautiful overlays.  

From the very beginning, the app was successful with millions of downloads.
